The project incorporated a phased construction approach over a series of several years. The goal was to create a series of housing and business uses on underutilized sites between SE Ankeny Street and East Burnside Street that would result in a denser urban fabric in a neighborhood quickly becoming revitalized. A pedestrian street connects between the two major bike and vehicular thoroughfares in order to create a visual and physical connection.
