This is a contemporary take on a historic homestead. The property is a horse ranch and the property owner wanted a house that would have a strong connection to the surrounding horse pasture. The project is organized into four separate structures: a building with living spaces; a main bedroom suite; a guest suite; and a barn. The buildings are sited along a low ridge in the pasture to take advantage of daylight and views.
